Selah Hastings was born on April 6, 1763, and died on January 1, 1844. He was one of 10 children born to Benjamin Hastings Jr (U-Benjamin - 3) and Mary Hastings, their marriage having taken place in 1751. Selah married Susanna Smith on 10/27/1784.
